VEGAN CHOCOLATE DATE BALLS



VEGAN CHOCOLATE DATE BALLS 

I'm a chocolate and brownie lover. So anytime I'm craving something sweet, instead of indulging in a calorie and dairy-filled cake, I make a batch of chocolate date balls. 

They are sweet & crunchy without that side of guilt & make a perfect sweet snack or dessert. 


INGREDIENTS

1 cup pitted medjool dates
1/3 cup walnuts
1/3 cup almonds
3 tbsp shredded coconut (fresh or unsweetened)
2 tbsp cacao powder
1/4 tbsp vanilla extract


METHOD

Add dates, walnuts & almonds to the food processor & pulse until combined.

Add cacao powder, coconut & vanilla extract. Pulse again until all ingredients are mixed together & begin to pull away from the sides.

Put mixture into a bowl. Using a tablespoon to scoop even measurements, roll into balls. Refrigerate & also store in refrigerator. 


Tip: Feel free to use any type of nuts you have on hand.
