CLEARLY JEAN-IUS

DENIM: OFF-WHITE | CHOKER: AMMO LIFE | MULES: DOLLS KILL | BELT: VINTAGE

Virgil Abloh described his brand Off-White as:

"Defining the gray area between between black and white as the color of Off-White."

His high end street wear is everywhere & the signature white stripe is simply "jeanius" deriving inspiration from cross walks & construction sites; things we see in every day life. I found this great Off-White frayed denim shirt in Los Angeles & it is such a versatile piece. I tend to gravitate towards subtle so typically, their large logo & bold white stripes on the backs of their denim shirts & jackets aren't particularly my style. Since this shirt is one colour of washed denim with an almost patchwork type denim stripe pattern with fringed edges, it is more muted.

I wore this Off-White men's denim shirt with a perspex waist belt to cinch in my curves because you don't want your oversized shirt to look shapeless. Boyish looks go so well with feminine accents. I paired my double D (denim dress) with my Dolls Kill perspex mules, my signature AmmoLife 'Jyoti' choker & Dior SoReal gold frames to play up the lame gold in my belt.

It's all in the jeans! ;)

Don't let denim intimidate you because it can be a tricky look. You want to limit your denim to only two pieces together, stay away from denim accessories so you don't end up like Britney Spears & Justin Timberlake, & only wear matching washes of denim together if they are a different weight to go for that casual laid back look. Marrying two shades of denim can also work but keep one piece form fitting & for accessories, stick to neutral tones & simple shaped pumps.

I chose to pair my light denim high-waisted jeans with a light loose fitting denim button up shirt, Louboutin patent nude laser-cut 'Impera' pumps, Dior Sideral 2' wire outline temple metal sunglasses, & I doubled up with my two-toned faux fur scarf & beige faux fur pelt.

Doubles are in, whether it's double shots, double lashes, & in our case double trouble. So double up on your denim & join the DD trend.

Double denim is a recurring trend. Out here, we refer to denim on denim as "the Canadian tuxedo".
Don't be afraid to combine different hues of denim together. It gives off an effortless look. Pairing a long sleeved shirt, frayed cut offs, pointed toe stilettos & sleek hair creates a street chic style.

Nudes or blush tones & denim go great together. My beige trench coat is a classic piece in my closet. Something about it's timeless appeal and everlasting cut makes it a stylish outerwear 'must-have' to transition any look from summer to fall. A trench coat and cut offs elongate the legs so they're perfect for creating length & height.

JEANS: RIVER ISLAND | BLAZER: ZARA | SHOES: GIVENCHY | BAG: CELINE | SUNGLASSES: DOLCE & GABBANA | WATCH: AUDEMARS PIGUET

I rarely ever dress down; that's been the case for as long as I can remember. I barely even own jeans. I'm more of a skirt, dress & trouser kinda girl. The main reason for that is because I barely find jeans long enough for me. So when I saw these jeans at River Island last month, I had to get them.

The jeans are high waisted so I added a crop top for a clean white look. Whenever I carry this Celine tie tote bag, I want to wear this blazer as well. They just go so well together. I added a rose gold touch with Givenchy sandals & an Audemars Piguet watch. And of course my favourite Dolce & Gabbana shades which I cannot get enough of.
