There is nothing simpler than a tailored two-piece suit. With resort season around the corner, this breathable linen is the perfect versatile look to take me off a yacht in France straight onto a safari in Tanzania. (Just for a photo shoot, of course) ;)  It's the perfect blend of comfort & style.

It is very important to me to promote Indian designers globally to create a platform to display beautiful fabrics, light & airy pieces, & create vast economic opportunities in manufacturing. The goal is to embrace the culture, the luxurious embroidery & everything that my country has to offer.

I wanted to stick to earth tones so I chose to pair this look with my "Simply CC" goatskin Chanel bag, wooden bangles that I've had forever & leather/snakeskin multi-strap Jimmy Choo sandals. The gold accents give the look a bold edge.

ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX PHOTO DIARY

Woke up to this beautiful view at the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, my favourite hotel in the UAE since the 'Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol' movie. We planned a pool day but this weekend was just too hectic. Friday for the famous French brasserie-inspired brunch at the Imperium downstairs; the most decadent brunch ever! Cake tables & chocolate fountains. Traditional tea with dried dates & apricots. This seafood table was amazing. From fish to crab to lobster to mussels. I absolutely love my Middle Eastern cuisine: hummus, baba ganoush and muhammara with olives and since I needed to indulge my carnivore side, some bits and pieces from the charcuterie table. Stunning chandeliers and architecture. They just takes my breath away each time. Backstage at the Yasalam Concert & "Beats on the Beach". Mint hookah always wins over apple. Kiran in her 5-way dress from Remix Clothing & me in a floral suit from River Island. Birthday cake; had to touch it to make sure it was real. On stage at the Du Forum, watching Miguel perform "Adorn". Abu Dhabi safari in the desert. We had the coolest driver, wearing a traditional thawb & sunglasses and just handling those dunes with one hand on the wheel. Camel rides in the afternoon. F1 Race themed treats. Kiran in a red Greta Constantine dress & Celine clutch. Watching T-Pain perform and host at 1One nightclub. Me wearing a Greta Constantine long black dress with Lady Dior bag. Afterparty on 3 different yachts. French Montana wins for best yacht door; it looked like a bank vault. Drove back to Dubai at 9:00AM & barely made it back in time for the race. In the Formula1 garage at the Yas Marina Circuit, checking out the cars and their sponsors. Back to the yacht parties for the rest of the day. Cipriani for drinks. VIP ROOM for the Kim Kardashian & French Montana party. Lots of Ace of Spades. Kiran in a Chriss Zoe red low-cut, high-slit dress. She wore red all weekend long! It was so foggy, the driver couldn't see a thing. Finally got the hell out of Abu Dhabi! *Samantha from SATC voice*. Back in the Palms, Dubai to pack & catch our flight after ZERO sleep! What a weekend!
