Ever since Herve Leger, bandage dresses became the silhouette du jour. They hug every woman's figure, smoothing & lifting all the right areas on the female body. Body conscious, body con, bandage, elastic, whatever the name, needless to say they hug a woman's curves. 

Body con has evolved from the simple round neck skinny strap dress that you can barely breathe in to bandage dresses with cut outs, unique shapes & even jumpsuits. 

I paired my Balmain mini shoulder strap LBD with my Jessica Rich fancy red stilettos which are part of my collaboration. I couldn't pull off Kylie Jenner's short locks + bangs with the dress like she wore it, my hair is tooo long right now and I refuse to cut it.

The most beautiful things in this world are holographic: iridescent rainbows, pearl morpho butterfly wings & the inner layer of pearl forming oysters.

This hot holographic trend in every form is making me reminisce about blowing bubbles, unicorns & disco balls so I can't get enough & even bought holographic makeup bags & makeup brushes.

Sometimes, you just need to shine so I decided to do a head-to-ankle silver holographic shade to merge the UFO & holographic trend in one. This retro futuristic glam trend is fun & playful, inspired by the best era where the shine & glitter was never enough; 70's glam rock & punk disco.

My illuminating look felt like a cross between Balmain's 2018 Fall collection & Maison Margiela's Fall 2018 metallic jackets with a dash of Jeremy Scott Fall 2018 sci-fi/fifth element vibe.

Black is my favourite colour because it makes my signature bold red lip & nails stand out. These are some of my favourite Balmain items. When I buy their pieces, I tend to stick to classic black. Black clothing is everlasting, can be worn more than once in different ways & the iconic Balmain gold accents stand out on it. What I'm trying to say is, I guess Balmain is the new black.

I paired my American Apparel leggings with a crop top, Gucci leather jacket, Balmain for H&M touque & leather Charlotte Olympia booties. Everything plays up the black & gold combo.

LOOK 2

I became obsessed with the Balmain oversized velvet coat after Adriana Lima strutted down the runway with it. I found it & it's been my favourite coat since then. The bold gold buttons, cinched waist belt & lush velvet are eye-catching. The Tom Ford shoes and bag each sport their own padlock.

LOOK 3

Wearing just a dress as-is is boring. I played up the sheer polka dot mesh in my Balmain dress with delicate floral lace stockings to do an array of transparency. The shoes are the Louboutin So Kate 120 suede pumps. I'm a classic black Louboutin kinda gal.
