RED: This bold colour represents both ends of the spectrum, love and hate & life and death.

Blood is red, blood is in the heart, the heart is the love organ & in reverse, when the heart is broken, you feel like your organ is in pieces with the blood seeping out feeling a piercing anger & rage to only see red for the person who broke it. Needless to say, red is bold, it exudes strength & it can bring out a fiery confidence.

This cherry-esque red dress with undertones of scarlet is a new take on bandage. The intricate cut outs create a body flattering silhouette & the ankle length of the dress keep me looking classy while baring all this skin. The rule of fashion is if you have a revealing top, go for conservative bottoms & vice versa. Translated to this outfit, the revealing side means the dress should be full length so I'm not baring it all, literally because I couldn't wear any undergarments. Red is such an assertive color representing revolution, power, strength, energy, danger, passion & love. 

It is an emotionally intense shade that requires an assertive confidence especially when wearing head to toe red, literally in my case. I guess it's the Taurus in me that's drawn to the red like a raging bull charging towards a matador's cape. 

Regne Official's luxe collection has an array of pieces in this sophisticated crimson red with a textured stripe fabric that caters to a woman's curves. Shot on these bright white walls created such a pop of colour & bold contrast to showcase this stand out hue.

Pairing a blazer with denim is a modern classic. I love natural contrasts in fashion combining the casual & relaxed look with the structured & dressy. 

Sadly, it's almost the end of the summer, the time when it's usually impossible to get me out of my denim wash shorts. Around this time, I am in panic mode and basically trying to show as much skin as possible before it's time to cover it all up at the risk of frost bite. 

Same goes with my Dolce & Gabbana 'cherry blossom' shades. 

I paired my Zara denim shorts with a River Island dusty pink halter top, a Saint Laurent bag in the same color, a cherry red Balmain blazer & flirty Alaia sandals for a romantic look.
