TOP: PRADEGAL | SKIRT: RIVER ISLAND | SHOES: ALEXANDER MCQUEEN | BAG: CHRISTIAN DIOR | SUNGLASSES: CHRISTIAN DIOR

Fall is literally around the corner and this season's neutral comes in 50 shades. From charcoal to slate, graphite to fossil.

Sure black and white combinations are making a strong statement for fall but we have our eyes on the hue that comes between them.

This outfit is a monochrome look, mixed with greys, whites and silvers. The skirt and jacket are leather, which can be heavy but the light grey tone makes it work. Paired with a rayon top and white McQueen sandals, somehow everything looks like it belongs in the same color family.

LAYER CAKE

OUTFIT: KUNDAN PAARAS | SHOES: SAINT LAURENT | BAG: CELINE | SUNGLASSES: DOLCE & GABBANA

I've been trying to neutralize my closet lately after all the years of always choosing the brightest and boldest colour & ending up with a closet that isn't so fall/winter friendly. I guess that's what happens when you're always trying to escape the cold.

This look came together so quickly as I took one look at this Kundas Paaras SS15 solid grey silk blouse & colour blocked skirt. Me, being a huge fan of matchy-matchy looks (GUILTY!), I paired the skirt with the Celine saffron yellow tie tote bag & Saint Laurent's dusty pink Jane patent sandals.

The first time I laid my eyes on these gorgeous sunglasses was at Heathrow airport. I quickly popped into a Sunglass Hut and fell in love with this pair; a butterfly-shaped frame, embellished with hand-painted metal almond flowers & gold leaves adorning both front and temples. I hesitated since Canada Customs' allowance is only $800 (Like, seriously?) & the black velvet box, in true Dolce & Gabbana tradition, was just too beautiful to throw away. I thought to myself "If I still want them when I land, I will just get them in Toronto." Luckily, after searching about 5 Sunglass Huts, I finally did find them. And I also snagged the other pair for 40% off! God bless Canada.

The whole look is just so decadent; a silky grey base, layered with a spicy, aromatic saffron yellow and a creamy, smooth dulce de leche nude, with romantic floral sunglasses that are definitely the cherry on top of an already delicious looking cake.
