NUDE MOOD

BIKINI: BEACH BUNNY SWIMWEAR | PANTS: GLAMSHOPONLINE | BRACELET: RIVER ISLAND | SHOES: TOM FORD | BAG & HAT: SOUVENIRS FROM CANNES, FRANCE

Black is back! Sheers are all the rage this season & add a touch of character to the simplest looks. Thank you April Davis of GLAMSHOPONLINE for the sheer pants. They were definitely the inspiration for my outfit. The different textures tie the whole ensemble together.

A sheer/leather black bag & hat, along with the leather Tom Ford sandals with gold accents work well with the gold horsebit details in the bikini.  And I just had to do a classic red lip & nail to vamp up my all black choice.

THE TRIBAL TREND

BIKINI: ZARA | COVERUP: RIVER ISLAND | BRACELET: RIVER ISLAND | SHOES: TOM FORD

When you opt for that bold printed item in your closet, pair it with a solid to create some contrast.

Here, I'm wearing a white Zara bikini with a printed River Island coverup. The little touches of neon yellow are accentuated in my coverup's collar & River Island bracelet, as if they were made to wear together. I'm pool day ready!

PRAIA DE ENSEADA BEACH IN GUARUJA, SAO PAULO

BIKINIS: BEACH BUNNY | COVERUP: HOUSE OF YERE

While in Brazil, do as the Brazilians do. I had to get those dark tan lines that we all associate with Brazilian beauties.

I packed my tiniest triangle top, dark tanning oil, sunglasses & headphones for the long drive.

The most beautiful beach is in Guaruja, a city about 2 hours from central Sao Paulo. We got lucky with a 26 seater bus for that extra leg room after the hotel ran out of cars because of the madness of the World Cup.

Taking in the beautiful hills, palm trees & local styles, the long journey was worth the trip.

The white sand felt like butter under my toes & I had an amazing beach day watching the boys play soccer with the locals, sipping fruity cocktails & stopping at McDonalds on the way home to try a McBrazil.

SAO PAULO PHOTO DIARY

Pool day at the Grand Hyatt in Sao Paulo with coconut water & a House of Yere coverup. Five flavours of bruschetta, olives, a mojito, a smoothie & Brazil's local drink, a caipirinha. All ready for the Brazil vs Colombia match with my Brazil jersey that I picked up from Primark in the UK for about 10 pounds! Kiran in her Ghost Label dress, Saint Laurent pumps & Tom Ford bag acting like she knows what she is doing with that soccer ball. Street art. Street lamps. Dozens of fans outside the Teatro Municipal de Sao Paulo. Policia ready for the riots if Brazil had lost; we got lucky. They won that day. Brazilian appetizers which included banana fritas & polenta fries. The banana bunches as centrepieces looked spectacular. Restaurant decor. Saint Laurent twin pumps. Brazil booty shorts & a great tan. Eggs Benedict & vanilla infused french toast with strawberries from room service. And Brazil reais & centavos, which I will add to my world currency collection.
