SIMILAR JUMPSUIT: REINE FOREIGN
*restocking this week*

The 'athleisure' trend is mixing pieces originally intended for the gym into other aspects of life. Versatile stretch fabrics, leggings & yoga pants are seen as a rising influence in high fashion. With the help of brands like Adidas, Nike & Puma infiltrating celebrity collaborations and runway looks, sportswear is becoming part of the fashion world growing out of the athletic gear category.

The sport craze has gained momentum in the fashion industry & sports wear is not just for men or sporty females anymore.

I definitely 'earned my stripes' in athleisure with this look.

30 INCHES: MISS INCHEZ

Carrie Bradshaw, the ultimate fashion icon remains a style guru over a decade after Sex and the City aired. Her bare belly & belt combo is just one example of it. I chose to use this fashion trend paired with a sporty look rather than girly for some contrast.

In fashion, you have to disobey boundaries & cross fashion lines so why not wear a belt on your midriff?

My look is pulled together with a mix of vertical and horizontal white lines. In my opinion, mesh stockings are over already, mesh socks are in.

BOMBER: ZARA MEN | PANTS: ZARA MEN | CROP TOP: PRADEGAL | BAG: CHANEL | BOOTS: EGO SHOES

"...not just blue, its not turquoise. It's not lapis. It's actually cerulean." - Miranda Priestly, The Devil Wears Prada

I've been a bit obsessed with blue lately; it's calming, representing the sky and the sea & often associated with depth & stability.

The rich colour of my periwinkle polish stands out against my fashionable oceanic blue hues like an unexpected pop of colour. I wore my men's Zara navy sport track pants with solid greys for a fresh-vibrant look. My grey crop top from Pradegal paired so nicely with my similar shade grey bomber & translucent boots.

BLAZER: MANGO | TROUSERS: V74 | BRA: NIKE | CLUTCH: ZARA | SHOES: LOUBOUTIN | SUNGLASSES: DIOR | BRACELET: HERMES

This sporty meets posh look is somehow defiant, since it's against the norm to mix these two. Seems to be my thing since "hitting the gym" seems to not-be-happening!    (le sigh)

These muted tones, and light & breathable fabrics work for this summer evening weather. I opted for the maximalist look to make the grey top stand out and to break up all of the white with layered necklaces, a sterling silver Hermes 'collier de chien' & Dior 'so real' sunnies.
Pair any wide leg trousers with a blazer in the same colour for this look and you can even replace the Nike sports bra with a tube top or bralette. Just keep it a solid for this clean, minimal and updated classic look.
