Summer is here! The double jacket/double coat trend was such a big hit during fall so I thought I'd try a blazer dress with blazer combo for the season. The classic button shirt & suit combo gives a polished look whereas this twist on a classic with a tuxedo dress from CARTE BLANCHE & double breasted Balmain blazer.

You don't want to look like you forgot to put on your trousers in the morning so make sure to go for a lengthy blazer to look undeniably sophisticated.

Anklets emerged to metal ankle straps & now the ankle cuff or ankle strap is in. Bold, bondage type accessories such as chokers are making a comeback. I saw some online boutiques selling ankle straps for $200 which is impractical. I took the buckle straps off my Saint Laurent heels to edge out my look with a contrast in colour that went great with my backdrop & touches of pink in my tie.

Sorry to disappoint, but this is the only ankle bracelet you'll see me in. ;)

BLAZER: BALMAIN | OUTFIT: NIKE | SHOES: CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN | BRACELET: HERMES | SUNGLASSES: DOLCE & GABBANA

Fashion and sports may be two of our favourite pastimes but it's rare that the two find common ground to stand on. Other than superbowl parties!

On these hot summer days, I barely ever want to wear clothes. And when I do have to, I live in my Nike Pro workout gear. I think I've bought almost every color made this past season and I barely ever use it for it's original purpose.
:(

Nonetheless, I found a way to wear it; with a luxurious printed blazer and super high heels for a sporty chic look. I added a sterling silver Hermes CDC bracelet, to contrast the bright gold buttons on the blazer. I'm loving this look and the synergy between high fashion and sports.

FALL FLASHBACK

DRESS: TADASHI SHOJI | COAT: CALVIN KLEIN | SHOES: GUCCI | BAG: CHANEL | SUNGLASSES: RAYBAN

SHOP THE LOOK AT REMIX CLOTHING CO.

Waking up to the snow & bare branches this morning in Toronto made me miss the fall; when the trees are blooming with colourful leaves and with each footstep on the bright golden ground, you hear the crisp fallen leaves beneath you. And of course my personal favourite, the fall fashion!

I love long coats that brush your ankles as you walk. It is cool enough to wear a fuzzy wool coat & warm enough to get away with sandals. These golden tones in my ensemble truly accent mother nature's warm forest fall tones.

I love the brassy-gold sequins covering this Tadashi Shoji dress and I immediately just pictured wearing it in a monochromatic look. The Gucci sandal added the perfect touch; subtle suede with a bronze python strap for oomph.

This look can work for winter too. Just swap the suede strappy sandals for some thigh high boots, add a dark pair of shades & close that coat up a button or two. Or don't if you aren't afraid of frostbite! :)

FEMME FATALE

DRESS: MARCIANO | CUFFS: RIVER ISLAND | BAG: LADY DIOR | SHOES: LOUBOUTIN

There's something about the combination of black and gold that is just so sexy. Add a slit to the mix with some bold cuffs, a red lip with red nails & you are definitely a femme fatale! This Marciano dress combines different textures; sheer, woven & faux leather, with an asymmetrical neckline. We've been updating our wardrobe with more classic pieces and this is a perfect dress for almost any occasion.

I love the structure and size of this mini Lady Dior. It is perfect for day and even better for night. I've only ever purchased the large size, and always wanted a medium but couldn't resist the mini when I saw it in the Bal Harbour's Dior in Miami. I knew one of the black and gold combos was coming home with me but it was a decision between lambskin leather or patent leather. I just found that the patent looked more classy and expensive verses the lambskin which was kind of dull and didn't hold it's shape well. And after the scratches I have collected on some of my lambskin bags, I'm definitely gonna stick to patent.
